    Sinningia leucotricha (Rechsteineria) is a nice caudex plant from South America. It is a member of the Gesneriad family and has beautiful velvet green leaves.

    It needs a peat based potting soil with 50% perlite or pumice added to increase drainage. The miminum temperature for Sinningia leucotricha (Rechsteineria) is around 10 °C. Leaves usually fall off during the period of dormancy in winter.
