Portulacaria afra is a nice succulent plant. It is also known as the Spekboom, dwarf jade plant or Elephant bush. It is native to South Africa. The plant can be easily propagated from cuttings and is very popular as a bonsai plant when properly trimmed. Keep portulacaria afra in a regular cactus soil and keep her dry in winter at a minimum temperature of around 10 °C.
