Lapidaria margaretae, also called Karoo Rose, is a very nicely shaped and colored mesemb with yellow flowers. It needs bright light and a mineral soil. It loves regular shallow waterings. Lapidaria margaretae can withstand minimum temperatures of -3 Ā°C.
Cultivation is best done from seeds. I sow the seeds (do not cover them) on 100% pumice (Bims). Seeds should sprout within a week or so. Give the seedlings plenty of air when they finished germination.

Received 3 young plants, that are looking healthy. The advice was not towater them in the first week, because the roots had been cut. After a week I started watering and they seem to be doing well.
